About Us

Frank Sasso was stuck in a monotonous desk job, spending his days performing the same tasks over and over. He needed something--anything—to break the boredom. That’s when he discovered the power of podcasts. But despite scrolling through countless shows, he couldn’t find the kind of uplifting, real-world encouragement he craved.
One day, his wife Christina had an idea: “Why don’t we start a show where we talk about our ideas instead of writing them down?” That spark lit the fire—and together, Frank and Christina launched The Who’s Your Daddy Godcast.
“It’s a Bible study podcast without sounding churchy,” Frank explains. “Just two New Yorkers preaching the kind of truth that should be taught in church.”

After winning Podcast of the Year in a subcategory of Religion and Spirituality, a neighbor gave Frank a suggestion that changed everything: “You should help other people start their own podcasts.” It made sense. Frank had already helped a friend from that same boring job launch a comedy podcast. That friend went on to release over 235 episodes—and soon, local comedians and clubs were lining up to be featured on the show. The audience exploded.
That success planted the seed for New Pod City.
Today, Frank and Christina not only produce four of their own shows—they also help aspiring podcasters launch, produce, distribute, and monetize their content.

Years later, Frank and Christina met Will Foskey, a visionary strategist who shared their passion for podcasting. Will and the Sassos went on to create PodStock—Trenton, New Jersey’s first (and only!) podcasting conference.
“Will is the mastermind behind PodStock and an absolute asset to our team,” says Frank. “He’s also an incredible business strategist.”

Mute Your Microphone When You're Not Talking.
You probably have no idea how loud keyboard typing or sneezing or that little radiator in the corner can be until you’re editing your audio. Suddenly in the middle of your guest’s best answer, the audio spikes with keyboard keys clacking or you slurping your Starbucks. Mute it.

Be Yourself
Trust me, the genuine “you” is always going to be better than some radio voice you could put on. Whoever you are, whatever weirds you wins you. If you have a quirky voice or laugh or a really strange sense of humor, do that thing! Be that thing! On a primal level, vulnerability and authenticity build trust because this indicates transparency to us.

Don't Just Follow A Script
It’s tempting to write out a script of questions and stick to it every episode. As soon as they answer, you say, “That’s great,” and move onto the next question on your list. But that is not how you’d have a real conversation! Try listening to the answers your guests give and then react/respond accordingly.
